The PFT 4-phase system

Phase%201:%20Lose
Phase 1: Lose

This phase is based on your maintenance calories derived from your current weight and your lean muscle mass to create a picture of your optimal weight. Your optimal weight is based on a healthy weight for you, not what society says you should weigh. Phase 1 is the introduction to self-tracking.

Phase%202:%20Tone
Phase 2: Tone

Once you’ve reached an acceptable amount of weight loss, you are ready to add in the key components to help you build and sustain lean muscle mass. Lean muscle mass help you achieve a slimmer and more fit physique, helps combat weight gain, boosts energy, battles disease, contributes to strong bones, and creates long term health. Phase 2 builds on everything we learn in Phase 1.

Phase%203:%20Lean
Phase 3: Lean

We’ve made weight loss progress and we’ve built lean sustainable muscle—now the real magic happens as we uncover all those muscles we’ve built. Phase 3 is a culmination of everything we’ve learned in Phase 1 and 2. At this point, self-tracking is second nature as we watch the fat melt away.

Phase%204:%20Performance
Phase 4: Performance

Now that we’ve created a new, more fit, and healthier version of your already amazing self, it’s time to get out there and accomplish the things on our bucket list that have always eluded us. Let’s use those muscles and show the world what we can achieve! Whether you want to run a marathon, a half-marathon, a 10K, or a mud run, or simply want to be in the best shape of your life for hiking, swimming, and sports, you are a Pureformer and ready to achieve your goals with greater results!

The importance of self-monitoring

Success is something earned, something worthwhile. It only comes to those who are dedicated and committed to their goals.

Pure Form 2.0 is a personalized transformation success plan designed to partner with the Pure Form Metabolic Conditioning style of training. If you want to improve your fitness, you need to track your progress and the positive behaviors that cause progress. This process is called self-monitoring—analyzing your actions to become more aware of how they impact your goals.

For example, if you want to manage your weight, you need to measure your weight so that you can track your progress. You also need to measure the two things that control your weight: your eating habits and your exercise.

Self-monitoring isn’t magic; you will have to do the work. The Pure Form 2.0 Success Plan is designed to help you manage what matters most. The #pftfamily atmosphere provides support, and your coaches are available on a daily basis to provide education, motivation, and accountability—you are not alone in this journey. At Pure Form PFT, we provide you with all the tools you need to follow our simple success plan.

Top 5 Reasons Why Tracking Your Eating and Exercise Works

You'll eat less

When people record what they eat and how much they eat, they usually eat less or lose weight as a result.

You'll exercise more

When people record their exercise habits, they tend to exercise more and find greater enjoyment from exercise.

You'll better see the trends

Tracking your food and exercise habits gives you immediate feedback on your progress. If your track your calories and your exercise, you’ll know immediately how your choices will contribute to (or detract from) your goals.

Changes in water weight can often mask weight loss and make it appear as though you’ve gained weight. When you track your diet and exercise, you can relax and know that weight loss or muscle gain is on the way.

Goals become easier to achieve

Self-tracking makes big goals more manageable. By breaking your big goal down into daily bite-sized goals, you are one step closer to reaching your dream weight or fitness level each day.

Your diet becomes a game

Recording your eating and exercise habits turns your diet into a kind of sport. Self-tracking helps you compete against yourself, and while it many not always be easy or fun, tracking is rewarding and well worth the effort.
